August is almost here and that means 2 free games for PlayStation Plus members. Coming to PS4 this Tuesday is Just Cause 3 and Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry.
Just Cause 3
Initially released in 2015, Just Cause 3 is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Avalanche Studios & published by Square Enix. Just Cause 3 is played from a third-person perspective and set on the fictional Mediterranean island known as Medici with Rico set as the protagonist. Players use a grappling hook, parachute & wingsuit to free-roam the island quickly while causing mayhem with missiles & shotgun RPGs.
Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry
Originally an addition to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag released in 2013, Freedmon Cry will be a standalone single-player game free to download this Tuesday. The protagonist Adéwalé, joins the Assassins to fight the Templars and disrupt their slave trade. You will fight through roughly 5 hours of gameplay while unlocking machetes, blunderbuss cannons & 6 trophies.
Additionally, this month Plus members get a free DLC for Dreadnought on August 15th. Dreadnought is a combat flight simulator with co-op mode, starting open beta August 1st.
PS3 Plus members will be able to download couch co-op Super Motherload and the classic snake multiplayer remake; Snakeball.
